Shadow Shot Sunday

This photo was taken last year at the start of spring.  I must admit that I can't wait to see the yellow blooms of the forsythia once more.  Spring, oh spring.... I'm right here waiting for you!

It's a good thing it's sunny instead of moonlit shadows or I'd be running and screaming...that's kinda spooky.

The photo artist is immersed in the look of spring, the sun a little higher above, the feeling and look of long sought warmth (winter to spring is the best thing about a four-season climate). The slight forsythia buds opening up their yellow leaves is wonderful - the forsythia needs to be trimmed often, but that is in the summer. The beginning of new life in the yard makes us smile :)

I love spring! When I can smell it coming, I am overjoyed. Where I'm now living, however, spring is very late in arriving.

SHADOW DANCER

Shadow dancer on the tree,
You are happy as can be,
Twirling, whirling round and round
Till you topple to the ground!

I hope spring is right at the corner! I can't wait, either.
I like the silhouette of the shadow on the tree.

Hi Alyissa,

Your kids are so cute!

Your shadow shot is just plain outstanding. It is one of my very favorites of all this week. Your own shadow on the tree is cool too.

Thanks so much for sharing and for coming to visit. God bless, and I am wishing you and yours a wonderful week.
