Shadow Shot #6

A few weeks ago we took Cesar's truck through the car wash one Saturday afternoon. He jumped out to do something and left me to ride on through in neutral with a sleeping Hugo in the backseat. Very quickly it dawned on me how pretty it all was, riding on through the car wash that is. I snapped up these shots. Once home with the sudsy pics up on the computer screen I saw them. I saw the shadows and thought I'd hold on to these pics for a shadow slow week.

Please join in the Shadow Shot fun and visit Hey Harriet for more details and additional shadow shooters.

hehe...I save shadow shots for those 'shadow slow weeks' also :)

These are amazingly cool photos Alissa! You have such a great eye for things that many people wouldn't notice & you turn them into works of art!

I really love the first shot. Going through an auto car wash is kind of a surreal experience. Great idea to take these shots.

Too funny, like being in a melting ice cave...I too save shots that I have taken in the course of the week. I took 115 shots Friday on my weekly outing with the dog. What did we ever do without digital cameras...ha...have a wonderful Sunday!

I love going through the car wash! One of the coolest ideas for a shadow shot. There's something fun and maybe even mysterious about the car wash.

Are you sure you weren't abducted by aliens? That first shot could have been taken from the Mother Ship.

Hi, Alissa! Thanks for the comment on my blog, glad to hear from you :)

I love going through the car wash, too. When I do, I think about what a mess it would be to roll down one of the windows in the middle of it... hopefully that never accidentally happens.

I'll be sure to drop by your blog again soon. Have a great night~

The bubbles look like small Casper d´ghost!!! They’re so cuties…
And who’s the man? Hmmm… isn’t he sexy? *wink (kidding)
Just want you to smile this Monday afternoon.

Have a happy Monday & great week ahead.

Awesome first shot, Ali! Looked like you were taking a picture underwater looking up at a frozen lake to me. You got a great response. Very unique.
