Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Cesar!
I'm so glad that we're on this journey of parenthood together.

Smooches from me,
Nibbles from Hugo,
Toots from Marlo,
and a Rollover from Sabine!

Happy Father's Day Popsha!

Thank you for always taking such good care of us
both at your home and far away here in our home.
We love to eat your food,
watch you play with our son,
and are always keen to know your opinion with
current events, pop culture, your childhood memories and family news.
We love you much.

Happy Father's Day Dad!

The following are stolen words, of a shared memory, from my sister Maggie's blog.

"My dad used to take us kids to school.  In Guerneville, CA in the late 70s/early 80s he would pull up his big stationwagon to the stop sign at the bottom of Summit Ave. (a hill so steep the bus would only pick us up at the bottom of it) & telling his own gaggle of youngsters to move over!, say 'Get in!' to all the assembled gradeschoolers.  Of course the bus driver got pissed off when he arrived at a deserted pick up spot at 7:45 a.m., & my dad was asked to stop doing that, they're supposed to go to school on the school bus.  Yeah, my dad liked to get in trouble.  He still does."

Whenever Father's Day happens to land on June 20th it becomes extra special to me.
Why?  Because it also happens to be my birthday!
Dad told me he always wanted his first born to be a daughter.  I like that.
Once, with my heart in my hand,
Dad told me that I needed to find a man
better than himself.
I love you Dad.

Forever and Ever.
Signed, #11

* Marlo just rolled over, from back to tummy, for the first time this afternoon.  Woo hoo Marlo!

Very sweet, Ali. Happy bday to you & happy father's day to Cesar (love all the pics you used too, esp. the one with Cesar and the girls--Marlo is awesome!).

But, will dad even read this?? If he reads your blog and not mine, hey, I'm gonna be pissed!!! :)
