Happy Halloween!

We had lots of fun dressing up!

A snapshot of what was under Hugo's pirate costume keeping him warm.

Ms Snow White

Hugo was very excited to see his friend Par Par (aka Parker) dressed as an elephant!

Yoda Baby

Ms Kitty Kat

Hugo ran from door to door. Didn't need hardly any coaxing at all.

Poppa was a Mummy even though he felt more like
a gang of teens had toilet papered him!
Hee hee hee, haa haa haa, har har har!

After each and every visit up the front walks,
Hugo and his friends felt I must inspect
the growing pile of sugar loot inside their totes.

Look, look!

Look, look, look!

We practiced saying Trick or Treat all week long.
Hugo could say it, but there was no enthusiasm in his voice.
Tonight, he got it.
Tonight, he hollered Trick or Treat over and over and over!
He just couldn't believe he was getting so many treats at one time!

Boo! The End!

I love your pics! I'm diggin' the costumes too! You did a great job and I don't think Cesar looked like he'd been toiled papered!!!

I can't believe that you danced with a giant Snoopy for your 10th birthday at the Schulz skating rink. I am so jealous!!! That's so cool that your uncle played tennis with Charles Schulz!

...people popping in here are going to be wondering what the hell I'm babbling about...hehe ;)

Great pictures, Ali! You guys look awesome! Cesar must be a great sport, I don't think I could ever get Pat to dress up. hee hee I would have to say that Hugo is the cutest Pirate I've ever seen-love his costume. Looks like a wild time, with kids running everywhere. Happy Halloween!

I have to admit that Cesar is actually in one of the best costumes I've ever seen on a guy! Kudos!! Did you make Hugo little striped legs and that cute coat? He looks very excited and will probably want to do it every weekend now for awhile!

Wow, these are some amazing photos.
Hugo is the new posterchild for Halloween. The most adorable pirate i've seen yet.

Thank you all of your nice comments about our spooky Halloween pics and costumes! We really did enjoy ourselves. No, I didn't make Hugo's costume, but very flattered that some thought it might be a possibility! We bought the pirate costume at Old Navy while in Providence for Thanksgiving when Hugo was 6 months old. Our town has a Costume Parade a week or so before Halloween and Hugo was a pirate in the parade last year. On the actual spooky day it was very cold last year so he went as a frog in one of those footed, hooded, zip up, super warm costumes. Two years in a row for $5!! Not so shabby. Oh, Cesar's rags were a sheet purchased the day of at Goodwill. Thanks again!
