First Star of the Evening

After dinner Hugo and I took a walk about the yard. Lots to explore and discover with the snow mostly gone. My gaze fell about the earth near my feet, I was searching for early signs of spring. Hugo was looking toward the sky. He tugged at my hand and excitedly pointed out a first star of the evening. I was so, so proud of him! I love to look at the stars myself and am fascinated by our ever changing moon. I tend to look up more than down. It made me happy to know that Hugo is taking it all in. Processing the info. From the mud puddles to the trees to the stars, they're all on his radar.
