It's Dark Outside

This is what is happening outside today.
A slow and steady pitter patter of rain.
Inside, the house is dark, dark, dark.
The fire in the stove is hot, hot, hot.
Hugo and I are yet pajama clad
in our warm house
with the rain falling
from the dark sky
way outside.
