We drove down to La Jolla and spent our afternoon at what used to be a children's beach but has now been taken over by sea lions and seals. Millie had taken some photos here awhile back and I knew it was a place which I really wanted to see. Good sister that she is, she made it happen. We had a perfect weather day and great fun exploring. I was exhausted by the time we left from lifting and heaving Hugo across pools, slippery sea grass clumps, gaps in the rocks and shell formations. I can't begin to recall how many times one of his boots fell off or was wedged between rocks. A wonderful day.
