I photographed these mini icicles this past Thursday afternoon during our ice storm. We had a day long ice fest and made the most of keeping off the roads and inside our snug home.
P.S. - If you are in need of a clue... this is the passenger side rear view mirror of my car.

Icicles are fun, even though it means frozen fingers and toes.
I would have never guessed! Fun Shadow shot.
We've been lucky here in Iowa, just a bit of ice the other day, but melted by 10:00AM...whew!
Thanks for the clue. I thought I was looking at a metal bucket. Your icicle shots here and earlier are incredible.
This is a beautiful photo. Loved your icicle pics from an earlier posting also. I'm afraid the only icicles I get around these parts are in my freezer. And it's so very hot here today I wish I could crawl into my freezer! Funny thinking of you guys all rugged up over there. Keep warm! :)
I needed the clue...I had no idea. Cool shot!
I thought the icicles were inside a tin bucket. That's what immediately came to mind. Very cool!

this is a great SSS capture. It looks like you caught the water freezing in mid drip.
