Kitchen Curtains

Today I washed and ironed the curtains before I hung them in the kitchen. I smartened up today, the ironing and hanging part took place during a certain someones nap. The kitchen is coming together bit by bit and it's very satisfying that all our hard work has almost reached it's completion. But don't let that fool you about our place. We have a TON of work ahead of us yet. The rest of the floor needs electrical, drywall, insulation, ceilings, floors refinished, a pantry, paint . . . possible wood burning furnace installed in the already existing fireplace. Kinda scary. Wish us luck and a bit of sanity to hold us through.

Fast, Very Fast

After breakfast, I checked over my new to do list. I decided to tackle the kitchen curtains, they've been calling my name for months. At the same time, Hugo checked over his "trouble" to do list and guess how he chose to busy himself . . . ? The damage could have been much, much worse. I didn't catch him in the act. I stumbled upon the keyboard and forgotten, topless sharpie while searching for something else. Something Else, now that's a good name for our little Hugo. Something Else.
