Farm Table

I am soooooo excited!  We have finally made a decision together on a piece of furniture for our new rooms.  We've been at war with one another, Cesar and I, over leather or fabric and which wall or fireplace the television should hang, lighting fixtures, rugs, to skirt a loveseat or not...  War I tell ya, and it hasn't been pretty!   But the sun is now shining and everything is rosy and golden due to the fact that Cesar and I both love, love, love our soon to be dining room table + bench seat!  We have been wanting to visit Cesar's parents in Rhode Island and discovering this craftsman's website, and the close proximity to my in-law's home, sealed the date on our trip.  Now we need only to keep the peace between us while searching for dining chairs and heaps and heaps of patience while we wait out the eight long weeks until delivery.  The delivery time is so long because Mr Ellison makes the table to the inch of your given measurements.  Can not wait.  Hopefully it will arrive in time to celebrate Hugo's birthday.  What a nice way for our family to break the table in.

Before & After

Welcome, welcome!  We are far from finished and there is no furniture yet, but you get the idea.  We are all very excited at the progress of our second floor thus far.  For now, the kids and Toula are super happy with the dance floor to run and play in!

Beds

So many of our photos are taken in my bed
that I decided to show the kids in their own beds for once.

The first is of Sweet Sabine, fresh home from church and newly settled in her crib.
Sabine likes her yellow giraffe.  He winds up to play a soft tune
while his head bobs around in a slow circle.  She digs it.

Second is a pic of Miss Marlo, out cold.
Happily shocked I was, to find her knocked out so quickly.
She was my inspiration to run for the camera!
Notice her Sleep Sheep in the upper left hand corner, what an awesome baby toy.
I give full credit to the Sleep Sheep for helping out little cranky pants to sleep.
She likes to look at him through drousy eyes, as she rolls on her side while sucking on her shoosha.

Last but not least is Master Hugo tucked snug in his big boy bed.
We had already read a story and I had closed his door behind me to go check on the girls.
After my photo shots of the girls, I knocked on his door and said
that I needed a photo of him in his bed to match the girls.
He obliged me with a smile, closed his eyes again and passed out!
