Sabine walked. I mean, she has become a walking baby! She has been taking a few steps here and a few steps there... But this was different. Late yesterday afternoon, Sabine hung out with me in the kitchen and the girl was a walking fool. The
floor plan is small in there, but she was different. She was walking! She still mixes it up with a bit of crawling, but not for long.
A friend asked me after preschool today, what Marlo thought of Sabine walking. Good question. I don't think Marlo has noticed much yet, except that we've been extra happy and excited for Sabine. She's coming right along herself, our little Miss Marlo. I can't predict when she'll be up on two feet for good though. She seems content with crawling for now.
What does Hugo think? I think Hugo is a bit worried about the continued girl invasion in his room. I'm thinking about giving him a lock to keep them out. He needs his space to continue to be his own. He is good about sharing his space and toys with them, but I don't think that he should have to all the time.
P.S. Sabine loves Pablo. She used to be frightened when he'd dance around. Not anymore, she loves him.

So cute. I love their fine baby hair.
Good idea to let Hugo have his own space.
Have a good Sunday
Gina, I wish you could have seen the girls hair upon waking this morning! That fine baby hair was a wee rats nest on top of Marlo's head and at the back of Sabine's.
Hooray for Sabine!!! :)
