Our neighbors are few and far between here upstate. Thankfully, we do have good friends who live not too far away. Today we got to help them chop down a tree in their front yard, hello Cesar! I missed the whole event. Was inside, getting the girls settled in the kitchen, then shucked some corn... Before we knew it, upon investigating outside, the tree was down and the clean up had begun. A nest had been found. The kids were in love. They all wanted to keep the two baby birds. The big boys didn't even eat their dinner, they were too busy hunting worms for the birds!
