The Tummy

We went to the mall today
in search of some cool,
humidity reliving
air conditioning
for my sticky skin,
smooshed lungs
and soon to swell feet.

I spotted this cool shadow as we crossed the Target parking lot.

The view was tricky to capture.

Hugo was patient - even though he said that the sun was burning his eyes.
Look! My foot is peeking out from beneath the belly!

The summer heat has finally arrived
and I am doing my best
to walk slowly
and breathe deeply.
The lung space just isn't what it used to be.
