Can you make out those
two blurry images in the above photo? We are expecting twins to join our family sometime after Thanksgiving. I am only 12 weeks along but these have been very busy and happy weeks. It has been hard for me to blog because all that has been filling my brain has been thoughts of these two little ones. I have wanted to keep my feelings private until I felt more sure that they were here to stay.
Yesterday we had an ultrasound to check on the twins progress. I was anxious to discover if they were both still there, I'd read that one twin can disappear unexpectedly early on. Scary. My fears were laid to rest there on the exam table. We quickly saw both babies. Hugo called one his sister and the other his brother. By the end of the exam though, he thought there were squirrels in my belly! We have a big brother in training here at our house. We three couldn't be more pleased.

Yay!!! I have heard incredible stories about twins. We are so happy for you guys! My friend had twins and she had them sleep in the same crib, because they cuddle up together! It is going to be so cute!

Oh my gosh! That is the coolest news ever. You're going to have so many more pictures to share. I don't blame you for being MIA... i think i've been absent because of my two dogs. They're just dogs! You have a hubby, a Hugo, and two dogs that I know of. What the what? Twins!!!
